HOW DOES PHYSICAL THERAPY WORK VIRTUALLY?

All of our Physical Therapy services are cash-based, so we are out-of-network with all insurance companies. We believe this allows us to provide the best care for our patients through one-on-one, highly individualized evaluations and treatment. Depending on your insurance, you may be able to file for out-of-network benefits and we can provide you with a super-bill if needed.

Once you sign up for an evaluation, we will send you the forms to fill out before the session. If you would like a gait analysis to be a part of your evaluation, you will record yourself running from different angles and send the videos to us ideally before the session.

I'M NOT CURRENTLY INJURED, BUT I AM LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUALIZED STRENGTH TRAINING PLAN TO HELP MY RUNNING PERFORMANCE OR TO PREVENT FUTURE INJURIES. HOW DOES THIS WORK?

We love prehab & strength training! We have found this works best when we schedule a physical therapy evaluation to start. This gives us the appropriate time to discuss your running history, injury history, & goals, while also taking a look at your current levels of muscle & tendon strength & length, as well as the joint mobility throughout your whole body. This gives us a good framework for an individualized program. Following the evaluation, we will provide you with a few weeks of strength/mobility workouts, after which an individualized strength training program is $100/month.

Surprisingly well. Half of our in-clinic evaluations and treatments are a discussion with patient education on training dos & don'ts, which is not hindered at all by being online. Many tests that we are accustomed to doing in the clinic we are able to talk you through, including functional strength and mobility testing. The exercises we prescribe to our patients we want them to be doing at home anyway - virtual telehealth visits allow us to find a pre and post-run routine for you that is actually attainable at your home.

State practice acts allow for direct access to physical therapy. Referrals are typically only needed when insurance companies require them. Since we operate cash-based (out-of network) and are not limited by insurance companies, referrals are not needed. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN THE STRENGTH FOR RUNNERS PROGRAM? AND HOW AM I CHARGED?

When you join you will create an account. You will be charged $29 every month and sent a new program every 4 weeks. You can cancel anytime, and you will have access to the remainder of the program you had paid for.

CAN I JOIN THE STRENGTH FOR RUNNERS PROGRAM ANYTIME OR JUST AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH?

You can join anytime. You will be charged on a monthly basis from the date you joined.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS FOR THE STRENGTH FOR RUNNERS PROGRAM?

We do not offer a refund, but you can cancel your subscription at any time and keep access to the most recent 4-week plan that you were charged for.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I JOIN THE STRENGTH FOR RUNNERS PROGRAM DAYS OR WEEKS INTO THE CURRENT 4-WEEK PLAN?

When you join you will be sent the current 4-week plan. You decide when you start and when you switch to the next 4-week plan. You will be charged monthly from the day you sign up.

WHAT DOES THE STRENGTH FOR RUNNERS PROGRAM COVER?

We include a warm up with mobility and activation exercises specifically targeted toward the strength exercises to be performed.
